John G. Lake, born in 1870 in Canada, was a Methodist minister who ran a newspaper in the United States. When his wife was delivered from prolonged, serious illness by the ministry of John Alexander Dowie in 1808, Lake's life and his walk with God changed forever. He saw his future. Lake went from newspaperman to one of the most famous missionaries and healers of all time.
Harold Chadwick captures the essence of John G. Lake, delivering a portrait of a man on fire for God. In doing so, he leads the reader into ten principles of faith that Lake used to surrender himself completely to God's service. |
